Annual Meeting

What is an “annual meeting?”

The congregation as a whole, gathered at a meeting (usually held annually, soon after the first of the year), elects leadership to the vestry and representation to Diocesan Convention. Annual meetings see the budget, even though in they don’t act to approve it (that’s the vestry’s job). Annual meetings can revise or adopt new bylaws, thus reconfiguring the congregation’s common life and moving it in new directions. The annual meeting also receives reports from the Rector, Vestry, Treasurer, standing committees and other organizations of the Parish.

The 2023 Annual Meeting was on January 29, 2023

The Vestry Candidates:

Vestry Nominees Announced

The vestry nominating committee announces the candidates for vestry. Sherifa Hardware is running for a second term. Kellie McCoy and Andrew Wasson are each running for a first term. It has been the longstanding practice of Holy Communion to nominate the same number of people for vestry as there are openings on vestry.
