Nominees Announced for Diocesan Delegates
Janice Nihill
Janice is 31, uses she/her/hers pronouns, and grew up in the St. Louis area where she currently resides with her family – her mom and brother – and their two cats. When Janice first started going to The Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion three years ago, she immediately fell in love with the open communion table – where all are welcome, wherever they are on their journey of faith. Janice’s journey of faith has fostered her deep love for liturgy, renouncing bad theology, and practicing shalom. Janice also loves, in no particular order, books, tea, crafting, houseplants, and tattoos. Janice currently works for the federal government as an airport communications officer, but hopes to begin a discernment process towards holy orders to ordination soon and attend seminary. One of Janice’s favorite book quotes is from Allegiant, by Veronica Roth: “Since I was young, I have always known this: Life damages us, every one. We can’t escape that damage. But now, I am also learning this: We can be mended. We mend each other.”
